Godly and Human Support

Each of us need godly and human support. As well we should be making opportunity to be a support to people daily. We can support people through our words and actions. WE can be a support to people even when they don't know through prayer.

Think of the word support and these illustrations; a supporting actor, a truss which supports the whole building, someone who seconds the motion and the military term, watch the flank. To do the will of God we all need support.

The word support is stated many times in the Bible. Naturally the word support means:
Support-carry the weight of, to prevent from falling, to assist or strengthen, to bear the cost of, to be actively in favor of. Everyone needs support; spirit, soul and body!

We see the word support in the Bible as many synonyms such as, supported, supporting, supply, supplying, supplies, strengthen, strengthened, strengthens, strengthening, encouragement, partner, partnership, uphold and sustain.

I want to encourage  you to be a support to someone today. Ephesians 4:16 states 16 From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. And from God side Romans 11:18 ...You do not support the root, but the root supports you. Finally Psalm 18:18 ...but the Lord was my support.

Ask the Lord how you can be a support to someone today or this week.
